What the map shows
Every robotaxi depot, service center, fleet charging hub and other fleet site (a headquarters, a factory) we have on record: 131 sites across 43 metros. 68 are on the map, and a city’s count is its squares. The other 63 are listed by city as reported, location not published: not on the map and not counted.
We show every site by general area only. Each square marks an area about 3 miles across, never a building, and the map stops zooming before street level. We don’t publish depot addresses. Status is what a source last showed: operating, under construction, permitted, planned or reported but unconfirmed.
The shaded outlines are where each company’s robotaxis carry riders, as of our last snapshot; click one for its date. Service areas change often, so the company’s own app has today’s map.
Every site rests on a public record: a city permit or business registration, a state filing, the company’s own statement, a news report or a field report. A registered location is a company’s business registration at an address; it shows the company works there, not what the site is for.
