Robotaxi Stand · by XoomPark

Robotaxi Stand.
A car waiting when your guests walk out.

Mark a pickup spot at your door and a staging area nearby. Robotaxi operators request access through XoomPark, you approve them, and their cars wait where your guests and riders are: hotel entrances, condo lobbies, ferry terminals and train stations. In the right locations, the space can earn.

  • Owner-set rules
  • Operator-approved
  • Same terms for every operator
  • Curb is always the fallback

For properties

Why hotels, towers and centers want one.

Guests don’t wait.

The car is at the door, or a minute away in staging.

Pickups leave the street.

Riders meet cars in marked spots, not in your drive lane or double-parked out front.

A space that can earn.

Where demand is strong, operators pay for staging time. You set the price, or keep it free as a guest amenity.

How a stand works

Five steps from address to first pickup.

Public transit · First and last mile

When the ferry docks, the car is already there.

Ferries, trains and buses deliver riders in waves, at times everyone knows in advance. A stand at the station gives those riders a car at the door and keeps the curb moving. It’s the kiss-and-ride, rebuilt for robotaxis.

A stand at a ferry terminalA ferry arriving at a terminal in four minutes. Three pickup berths at the terminal door hold cars, a staging pool nearby holds more, and an arrow shows the next car moving up as each one leaves.WATERARRIVING · 4 MINTERMINALDOORPICKUP BERTHSSTAGINGnext car moves upBerths open on the timetable. Staging refills the door.
  1. 01Book on board.

The rider requests a car before arriving.

  2. 02Predicted at the curb.

The operator tracks the arrival and sends cars ahead.

  3. 03Waiting at the door.

Cars hold at the pickup berths, with more in staging nearby.

  4. 04Next car moves up.

As each car leaves, staging refills the door. If the stand is full or blocked, the car falls back to the curb or keeps moving.

Operators run the cars. XoomPark arranges and runs the berths and staging.

For agencies and station owners

  • One neutral program. The same rules for every operator, so you’re not refereeing companies or seen to favor one.
  • Start with space you already control. Where you need more, we find nearby private lots for overflow staging and arrange access.
  • Hours follow the timetable. Berths open for arrivals and free up between them.
  • Works with the city. The curb is often city-controlled, so the program runs under city and agency rules.
  • Less parking to replace. As more riders arrive by robotaxi, a station lot needs fewer replacement spaces when it’s redeveloped.

For operators

  • Berths at the door plus staging, timed to arrivals, on one set of terms at every station in the program.
  • Pay per use, shared with other operators. That’s cheaper than leasing spaces that sit empty between arrivals.
  • The same fallback: the curb, or keep moving.
  • Ferry terminals
  • Commuter and metro rail
  • Intercity rail
  • Bus hubs and transit centers
  • Park-and-ride lots

In pilot planning.

Tell us the station or terminal, who controls the curb and what space is already yours. We'll map the berths and the nearby staging, and come back with a pilot plan.

Station pilot

Plan a station pilot

Takes about a minute. Requesting a stand is not a commitment.

What you control

Your property, your stand.

Your property, your stand. You decide who gets access, where cars wait and for how long.

  • Which operators
  • Which spots and hours
  • Price, or free
  • Maximum wait
  • Blackout dates for your own events

Set up your stand

Start with your address.

Tell us the property, the spots at the door and the staging you can offer. We review access, clearance and signal, then set the stand up with you in XoomPark OS. Requesting a stand is not a commitment.

Where stands fit

Entrances, lobbies, lots and terminals.

  • Hotels

Guests leaving for dinner, the airport or a meeting, at the entrance.

  • Condos and apartment towers

Residents and visitors, from the lobby, with staging in the garage or lot.

  • Shopping centers

Shoppers with bags, at a marked spot instead of the fire lane.

  • Parking lots and operators

Open surface lots make the best staging pools for the blocks around them. Garages need a signal and clearance check first.

  • Ferry terminals and rail stations

    In pilot planning

Riders arrive in waves. Cars wait at the door, with more in staging to refill it.

HOW IT WORKS AT A STATION
  • Venues and events

Riders walk to a car already waiting off the street, instead of waiting for one to fight in.

For AV operators

Robots should wait for people. Not the other way around.

Your riders are coming off ferries and trains, and walking out of hotel lobbies and condo towers. Stage where they are, and your car is the one at the door. A stand also puts your brand at the entrance: the first thing a rider sees on the way out.

Transit first · In pilot planning

What you get

  • A pickup spot at the door plus overflow staging, approved by the owner, with entry, exit, clearance, gate and signal checked before it opens
  • Pay for the minutes you use, not a space all day, because the stand is shared
  • Your plan stays the fallback: blocked stand, next stand, the curb, or keep moving
  • You keep your data. We see only what the booking needs.
  • Console or API: find, hold, confirm, check in, check out

Fair questions

What owners, agencies and operators ask.

What is a Robotaxi Stand?
A pickup spot at your door plus overflow staging, set up in XoomPark OS, that approved robotaxi operators can use under your rules.
Can my property earn from it?
In some locations, yes. It depends on where you are and how much demand there is. You can charge for staging time or offer it free as a guest amenity.
Who decides which operators can use it?
You do. Operators request access, and you approve each one.
Do I need to build anything?
No construction. You mark spots and add signage. We check entry, exit, clearance, gate and cell signal before the stand opens.
What if a spot is blocked?
The operator’s own plan takes over: the next spot, the curb or keep driving. Cars never get stuck waiting on us.
Can more than one operator use the same stand?
Yes. Sharing is what makes it cheaper for operators and lets the space earn more.
Does XoomPark drive or dispatch the cars?
No. Operators control their vehicles. We handle the spots, the rules and the record.
What data do operators share?
Only what the booking needs: time, spot, check-in and check-out.
Where is this available?
We’re starting in Miami, with more cities as properties join.
Does a stand work at a train station or ferry terminal?
Yes, that’s where it helps most. Riders arrive in waves, so cars wait at the door with more in staging, and the berths open on the timetable. Station pilots are in planning now.
Who controls the curb at a station?
Often the city, not the agency. A station stand runs under city and agency rules, starting with space they already control. Nearby private lots can add staging.
Why not give one operator its own spaces?
Spaces reserved for one company sit empty between arrivals. A shared stand serves every operator from the same berths, so it costs less and the curb works for everyone.
