The short answer

A driveway works until it doesn’t. One or two cars fit at home. At three or more, handoffs start colliding, guests park badly, and a car sitting in the wrong spot costs you trips. The fix is a small block in a lot with 24/7 access, near where your guests pick up: the airport if you serve travelers, South Beach or Downtown if you serve vacation rentals. XoomPark has identified 89 sites within about 3 miles of MIA and 1,606 across Miami, and we match hosts with lots that agree to the handoff use.

Turo is a marketplace: booking, insurance and support are handled, and parking between trips is yours. That makes parking the fixed cost of a hosting business, and the pickup spot part of your product. This page shows what the Miami market looks like and what to check before you commit.

What does a space cost?

Thin data, and higher near the airport. 13 of the 89 sites show a monthly price: median $373, range $250 to $749. Across all of Miami the median is $200.

Three cars at the airport-area median is about $1,119 a month — the fixed cost that your trip volume has to clear before anything else. A block price for adjacent spaces is worth asking for, because lots price single stalls and blocks differently. For comparison, the published truck terminal near the airport lists $700 a month for a tractor space, which is a different product from a car stall.1 For the wider market, see the Miami providers comparison.

Questions Turo hosts ask

Does Turo provide parking for hosts?

No. Turo is a marketplace: it handles the booking, insurance and support, and the host chooses where cars are parked and where guests pick them up. Parking between trips is the host’s responsibility and cost.

Can I use a parking lot for Turo handoffs?

Yes, if the lot’s terms allow it. A lot that permits guest pick-ups needs clear entrance instructions, room for a car to wait briefly, and hours that cover late returns. Ask the lot operator before listing the address as your pickup spot.

How many cars before a driveway stops working?

Practically, around three. Three cars need three spaces plus room to maneuver, and handoffs for several guests in one day start to conflict. At that point a small block in a lot with 24/7 access is usually cheaper than the missed trips.

What does a monthly space near MIA cost?

Only 13 of the 89 sites within about 3 miles show a monthly price. The median is $373 and the range is $250 to $749. Across all of Miami the median listed monthly price is $200. Three cars at the airport-area median is about $1,119 a month.

Where should the pickup spot be?

Where your guests already are. Airport-area lots work for travelers; South Beach and Downtown lots work for vacation rentals. The lot should have an entrance a first-time visitor can find and hours that match your trips.

How we counted

We counted sites in XoomPark's public coverage list on October 2, 2026. A site is a parking lot or garage identified from public listings, and it is not verified, available or bookable until it agrees terms. Distance is straight-line from the airport at 25.808 N, 80.288 W, using the blurred coordinates in our public list, so bands are approximate. A site counted in the 1-mile band is also counted in the larger bands. Monthly prices come from the price text on the listing: the lowest monthly figure or permit per site. A blank means the listing did not say, not that the answer is no. XoomPark is not affiliated with Turo.
